Making disciples of all nations through spiritual multiplication: Part 2 of 2![]() In Monday’s post I explained spiritual multiplication. I argued that it is the premier method Jesus gave us for making disciples of all nations (Mt. 28:19). And I showed how by means of practicing spiritual multiplication the Holy Spirit could use us to help bring the entire world to Jesus and the Catholic Church in just 33 years. Yet even those of us committed to evangelization frequently do not practice spiritual multiplication. Why not? Here I present four reasons why I think we fail to practice spiritual multiplication. By identifying and overcoming these reasons we can better practice this divine method of reaching the world for Christ. Why we sometimes fail to practice spiritual multiplication
Spiritual multiplication is FOCUS’ “secret sauce.” It is at the heart of how we evangelize. Yet it isn’t really a secret at all. It is the chief method which Jesus left us for reaching the whole world for Him. I work for FOCUS because I believe in spiritual multiplication. I believe God has called us to evangelize in this way, and I believe He has and will continue to bless our work when we stay faithful to it. Have you seen God work through spiritual multiplication? If so, how? May all of us who believe in spiritual multiplication—starting with me—grow ever more intentional and faithful in our practice of it.
