SEEK Blog Contest Qualifiers

We received nearly 100 entries for the first FOCUS SEEK 2013 Blog Contest! Thank you everyone who participated. There were so many amazing stories, but, in the end, we had to pick only eight.

Here’s how the rest of the contest will work:

Starting today, the eight qualifying blog posts will be published on the FOCUS blog. Two posts will be published each day. Please check back to this blog or subscribe to the FOCUS Facebook or Twitter account to be notified when entries are released.

From October 23-26, voting on the eight qualifying entries will occur on focus.org/blog. You will not be able to see how many votes each post has during this time. But, we will update you on the top 5 posts periodically. Stay tuned.

On October 27 – The three blog posts that receive the most votes will be submitted to our sponsor, the Order of Malta Federal Association. The Order of Malta Federal Association will determine what place each winner receives.

On October 30 -Winners are announced!

About FOCUS

Since the pontificates of Pope Paul VI and John Paul II, the Roman Catholic Church has been commissioned to engage and embrace the world with God's message of love once more with ‘new methods, new ardor and new expression.’ It has come to be phrased, 'the new evangelization.'

For FOCUS, this means meeting college students across the nation where they are and challenging them to examine the meaning and purpose of their lives.
