SEEK 2013 Blog Contest

For the first time ever, FOCUS is holding a blog contest! The Seek 2013 Blog Contest, sponsored by the Order of Malta Federal Association, is featuring the writing of college students around the country and giving away some awesome prizes. Qualifying entries will be posted on the FOCUS Blog. Winning entries will receive a free Seek 2013 registration and their share of $2500 in cash. Entering the contest is simple. Read below to find out more!

What do I write about?

The question for this year’s blog contest is: “Catholic theologian Hans Von Balthasar once said, ‘Your life is God’s gift to you, your gift to God is your life.’ Describe a pivotal point in your faith life when you realized you are a gift from God. How are you trying now to become a gift to Him?"

Write a 500-1000 word reflection on this question. We are looking for unique, well-written, thoughtful, and inspiring responses.

About FOCUS

Since the pontificates of Pope Paul VI and John Paul II, the Roman Catholic Church has been commissioned to engage and embrace the world with God's message of love once more with ‘new methods, new ardor and new expression.’ It has come to be phrased, 'the new evangelization.'
