If you have not watched through Season 3 Episode 5 (aired Sunday, January 27th in the US) and do not want to be spoiled, do not read. The PBS show Downton Abbey has been a raving success on both sides of the Atlantic, including here at the FOCUS headquarters. Anecdotally, I’ve seen fellow employees wearing black after the death of one of the characters and stories of missionaries almost praying for Mrs. Hughes’ cancer during Mass! I have been a fan of the show since Season 1 because of its ability to capture history, virtue, vice, class, plot line, and character development to name a few. But, my interest really piqued when producer Julian Fellows noted that Season 3 would include a Catholic storyline.
