Where I serve

I serve our students at the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse, Wisconsin!

My Story

I was raised in an agnostic household, but having struggled through high school, I found God holding onto me when my whole life seemed to be falling apart. I promised Him to convert at the soonest possible moment. On March 31, 2013 as a freshman in college, I was baptized, confirmed, and received my First Holy Communion at the St. Thomas Aquinas Center of Purdue University.

After my baptism, I discovered a strange phenomenon: I was able to answer questions that many Catholics and non-Catholics alike had about life and the pursuit of God. These revelations about myself and my unique relationship with God helped me to understand that I had to do something, that I couldn't just sit around with this gift. I became extremely involved in the campus ministry at Purdue University's Newman Center (Boiler Up!). I gave several talks on my conversion story, lead Bible studies, and mentored countless students in their spiritual lives. It was obvious to me and my own mentors that I had a vocation to ministry and, even more, to the winning of souls.

Feeling lost and anxious about post-graduation plans, I went to confession with a priest I did not know, and I told him about my interest in campus ministry after I graduate. He suggested I look into an organization called FOCUS, which I had never heard about before in my life. I immediately fell in love with the mission of FOCUS, the missionaries I met during my application process, and the radical way I could minister to students, explore my vocation, and save souls from the culture of death. Here I am today, trying to do just that!

Your Impact

At this time in my life, God requires of me that I go out as a fisher of men and bring souls back to him. This is my mission, to reach students so that they long for goodness, fall in love with beauty, and learn to stand bravely with the truth. Moreover, that they find their true identity amongst the chaos of our culture today and lead lives of character and virtue. Please join me in this pursuit. Your prayers and support are the only way to make fulfilling my mission possible. Thank you so much in advance, and know that your support means the world to me. May God bless you and your families!
