Where we serve

Anthony and Amanda will be serving on campus at WWU - Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. We will work with one priest and five other FOCUS missionaries through the Catholic Student Center.

Western Washington has approximately 15,000 students in attendance. Your prayers and support are especially effective in helping us bring students into an authentic relationship with the Lord.

Our Story

As missionaries, our greatest desire is to lead all people to know and love Christ in an intimate and authentic way. Our lives have been transformed by Jesus and together we want nothing more than to bring that joy to others and to introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel.

In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet each of us on our level, taking on our humanity in the greatest of humility. He spent most of His time investing deeply in a few individuals who He recognized had great potential to change the world. Amanda and I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching today's generation, and for that reason we are proud to be working with an organization like FOCUS, that so closely unites itself with Christ's Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

Your Impact

Mother Teresa once stated that “The spiritual poverty of the Western World is much greater than the physical poverty of our people.” From that very notion we as missionaries go out to the college campus and strive to seek out those who are spiritually hungry, dead, or longing for God. Our mission is to bring them to the life-giving bread that is present in our Eucharistic Lord.

"You, in the West, have millions of people who suffer such terrible loneliness and emptiness. They feel unloved and unwanted. These people are not hungry in the physical sense, but they are in another way.

“What they are missing, really, is a living relationship with God.”
Mother Teresa

We have chosen to entrust this great task (the task of funding our mission) to the Holy Family, to Mother Teresa, and to our own family's patron saint: Saint Thérèse of Lisieux.

We are seeking to unite our mission to a solid foundation of men and women with a similar vision and passion for saving souls from the entrapment of worldly deceit. We live in a generation where Satan has labored to turn our minds and hearts away from God. In light of this, Amanda and I would be honored if you would join us in our mission to evangelize the hearts and souls of college students.

As parents ourselves, we know the desire to see our children remain faithful Catholics quite well. Your prayers and financial support help us to keep working in the vineyard of the Lord so that we may bring nourishment to those who are perishing of spiritual hunger - a hunger that only God can satisfy.

If you are interested in partnering with us, you can donate via the button above. Please also let us know of the best way to reach you so we can schedule an appointment. Our family would be honored to share this mission with you. Thank you again for your time and may God bless you richly in your journey through this life and toward the next!

When a poor person dies of hunger it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her. It has happened because neither you nor I wanted to give that person what he or she needed.
Mother Teresa

Know, Love and Serve God

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

Build Virtuous Friendships

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

Teach Others to Share Christ

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on …
