Where I serve

I graduated from George Mason University, but now God has called me to serve college students in the heart of DC at George Washington University. You'll typically find me playing some sort of sport, hanging out with friends, or off adventuring.

My Story

I was raised Catholic and attended a Catholic High School in Northern Virginia. The faith was something I was always taught and knew about, but never something I truly lived. In college I was introduced to a FOCUS missionary on my campus, who invited me to join a bible study. In this bible study I met other men who challenged me strive for something more: to strive for virtue, live for others, and follow Jesus Christ. Soon a missionary invited me into discipleship, which gave me the tools I needed to lead my own bible study and lead others to Christ. In my three years as a FOCUS student bible study leader, I was blessed to see Christ transform the lives of many men. In the past year, unfortunately one of my bible study members, who fell away from study, took his own life. This really shook me and opened my eyes to what a major role I can play in someone's life. Inviting others to encounter Christ and follow him is a great desire of mine, and I am now doing that through mission work.

“The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty -- it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There's a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.”                                         -- Mother Teresa

Your Impact

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to share this mission with you.
