Where I serve

I am currently working as our Senior Alumni Relations Specialist. I am working to help connect, inspire and equip our FOCUS Alumni (former students and missionaries). Our Alumni team aims to make sure what our alumni have learned during their time with FOCUS flows forth into their parish, family and workplace.

I graduated from George Mason University in 2012. I then served as an on-campus missionary for three years at Harvard, Boston University, and Florida Atlantic University. Then, I served my 4th year as our Southeast Program Director working in a strategic and administrative role aimed at helping the missionaries and campuses thrive in the Southeast region.

My Story

The Greatest Adventure

"To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek Him the greatest adventure; to find Him, the greatest achievement" ~ Augustine of Hippo

St. Augustine beautifully describes my college experience. I experienced more growth during my time in college than I could have ever imagined. My Greatest Adventure began as I stepped upon George Mason's campus. I entered into college ready to engage in the "college lifestyle" of partying. I quickly learned it was more than I had bargained for, as that lifestyle is full of binge drinking, drugs, hook-ups, shallow relationships, loneliness, depression and brokenness. I hoped for a more fulfilling way to live then jumping from momentary pleasure to momentary pleasure.

The Greatest Romance

By the grace of God, I was introduced to FOCUS. Through FOCUS, the Lord introduced me to the Greatest Romance with Jesus, leading to the fullness of life my heart had been searching for. The Catholic community at Mason was genuine, fun and joyful, which is rare to find on a college campus. The missionaries invested their love and care for me as they helped me learn how to live out my faith. I experienced God's personal love for me for the first time in my life and found the continual joy and peace in my heart that I deeply longed for. This brought about a profound and brightening change in my life as I strove to become 'the best version of myself' by remembering I was 'made for more' [tag lines from: Matthew Kelly & Curtis Martin].

The Greatest Achievement

After this experience, God placed the desire in my heart to encourage others to desire and seek the fullness of life that so many people are missing out on. The Greatest Achievement is in recognizing God's call for me and embracing it, granting me a deep freedom and profound hope in life.

Your Impact

The work we do is only possible by God's graces and our wonderful mission partners, through faithful prayers and generous financial support. As missionaries, we fundraise 100% of our monthly salaries. This provides a beautiful opportunity for others to invest in the mission and join with us to save souls on college campuses and bring about a revitalization of the Church!
I would be honored to partner with you! Most monthly mission teams are made up of 40-60 individuals donating on average b/w $50-$250 a month. Please share your questions and concerns with me.
