Where I serve

My family and I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to serve as Parish Missionaries at the Parish of Christ the King.  Our Parish is amazing and is taking the next step in their discipleship during this 99th historic year.  God is truly renewing the parish through Men's and Women's ministries, a great semi-annual retreat called ACTS, and prayer breakfasts that gather over 100 parishioners over the course of the week to study Sacred Scripture.  This is the fertile ground in which God called FOCUS to partner with this dynamic Parish that has a phenomenal pastor who desires to help his parishioners become missionary disciples.  That is my families mission, to help the parishioners of Christ the King become missionary disciples.

Me with Benny on my shoulders, Clara, Charlie, Gemma, Angela my wife holding Regina who is holding Damien (born November 30th, 2015!).  We have one more daughter up in heaven name Stefania Rose Marie and she is an amazing saint to pray to!

My Story

I am the weakest person I know.  But God loves to prove to the world that he is great.  14 years ago I was deeply convicted of living a double life and of being a Luke-warm Christian.  I was evangelized by my two best friends who were Protestant and had beautiful relationships with our Lord and they simply asked me..."what does it mean to be a Christian?".  I had no answer so I turned to scripture.  After I read the Gospels and was halfway through Acts of the Apostles...the Lord finally hooked me in Acts chapter 18.  "Paul remained for quite some time, and after saying farewell to the brothers he sailed for Cenchreae he had his hair cut because he had taken a vow."  This obscure verse stuck out like a sore thumb...Why did Paul cut his hair?  I researched all I could and found that he took a Nazarite vow just like Sampson in the Old Testament.  So the cure for my lukewarmness was to imitate Paul and shave my head and take a year vow for a year to our Lord to give him my life and see if he could change me.  This was the beginning of my conversion and my life changed by the end of that year.  I now get to do what my college friends did for me for others.  I meet new friends and invite them into Bible Studies and we pray using the Scriptures and the Lord always shows up.  In the midst of this materialistic, individualistic, technology driven world, I get to see miracles everyday as my family and I continue to live follow Christ and live out the Gospel of the family in mission.

Your Impact

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve the Lord. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to share this mission!
