Where I serve

I'm coming back strong for year three with FOCUS, but this time in a new role!  I am excited to say I am a Program Director for the National Region of FOCUS.  My role is assisting the Regional Directors in how to better serve missionaries, team directors, and chaplains.

I served my first two years as a campus missionary at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington.  The 2015-2016 school year marked FOCUS's first year not just at EWU, but also in the Pacific North West!  I was honored to be a part of the team to start the FOCUS program at Eastern and it was truly an incredible experience to live out the Great Commission given to us by Jesus Christ with the students there.  It was such a joy to grow in friendship with the girls at EWU and to see how God worked and is still working through our friendships.  Nothing is more beautiful or fulfilling than watching and experiencing someone else grow in their faith.  I am confident that my time at EWU gave me knowledge and experience I will need as Program Director to best serve the needs of the mission through the National Area.

My Story

I didnt always used to be a missionary!  Let me share a little about me:
I am a born and raised Coloradan. I grew up Catholic but was quickly being pulled away from the faith in high school and college until I was asked to join a bible study by a student leader who reached out to me. That bible study was the first time I made friends who wanted to talk about faith and who shared common morals and values; it became an important circle of friends throughout my college career. Slowly but surely, throughout my four years at the University of Northern Colorado I became a student leader in our Catholic community. A missionary who befriended me asked me to join her in discipleship and from that point she taught me how to evangelize others. It brought me so much joy to teach others what I had learned and to show them how beautiful life with Christ is.

Two years have passed since I graduated, and I have loved dedicating my time to investing in and sharing life with those around me to help them encounter God as I did.  "My story" with Christ hasn't ended now that I have served as a missionary but  I can feel God continue to transform my life through this mission.  I trust that as He brings me closer to Himself, He will also bring those that He has put into my life.  God is pretty cool like that.

Your Impact

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you (call, text, email, carrier pigeon, message in a bottle) and we could set up a time to meet up!  I'd love to go out for coffee (see above to hear about my love for coffee) and I'd be honored to share this mission with you.
