Where I serve

I am a fourth-year missionary serving my second year as the Team Director at George Washington University in Washington D.C.. My first two years I served at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

My Story

I graduated four years ago from University of California, Santa Barbara with my Bachelors in Psychology. I have always had a special interest in people and how they think, feel, and develop. Like many students out there, I struggled with my faith, turning to God only when I felt I needed to, and although I remained an "active" member of the local parish, I knew that there was something missing. I encountered Christ through a FOCUS missionary. I will never forget what this missionary said to me what felt like dozens of times: "The Lord desires you to be whole." Under her mentorship I learned what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. I saw how His Church is not only the way to develop my relationship with Him and be filled by the Holy Spirit, but also the way to lead others to the person that can heal and love them better than I ever could, Jesus Christ. By his grace, I am here today sharing His love with students on campus, equipping them for the life-long mission of bringing others to Him!

Your Impact

The mission is impossible without your support. I invite you to join me in this mission: to know Jesus, and make him known.  Help me challenge students to the race to God and His Kingdom, by living for Christ. With every prayer, and every gift, you make it possible for me to reach these students and change the lives of many forever!!!! Every donation is 100% tax-deductible Please contact me with any questions or prayer requests that you may have.

 In Christ,

 Roxio Elizabeth Roman

Know, Love and Serve God

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

Build Virtuous Friendships

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

Teach Others to Share Christ

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on …
