Did you ever watch or remember VH1’s, "Behind the Music"? In a nutshell, BTM was produced with the sole purpose of giving the curious viewer a look into the real life of a rockstar or band, a view most people never get to see. It was an early stepping stone towards what networks would later call "Reality Television" (even though we realize most of reality television is far from reality). With this idea in mind, a few creative minds at FOCUS began to brainstorm around the idea of increasing the visibility and awareness of what goes on "Behind the Mission" in the life of a FOCUS Missionary. We often hear that those not closely associated with FOCUS and even those that are, really do not know what goes on in the daily life of a FOCUS Missionary. And how could they? Until now, we’ve never really peeled back the curtain to express the heart, struggle and devotion of the life of a FOCUS missionary.
