Executive Director, Martin Family Foundation
Nearly two decades of working in the non-profit sector led Laurie Vieira to her role as executive director for the Martin Family Foundation. With a geographic focus on Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, the Martin Family Foundation serves God through four primary areas of giving: sanctity of life; services to the poor and at-risk; evangelization and discipleship; and educating the poor. After 12 years as a stay-at-home mom, Laurie started a strong development career as executive director of Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust, the fundraising arm for inner-city schools in the Archdiocese of Denver. After nearly 10 years at Seeds of Hope, Laurie became a development director at Arrupe Jesuit High School, a Cristo Rey Network school, and recently completed a successful capital and endowment campaign.
Born in Baltimore, Laurie spent most of her youth in Scottsdale. After a brief stint on Long Island, Colorado has been her home since 1989. Laurie has been married to her husband, Ed, for 30 years and has three adult children and a new son-in-law.
Her current volunteer activities include her service on the board of trustees for Arrupe Jesuit High School, on the development committee for Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Classical School and as a current and founding board member for the Denver chapter of the Young Catholic Professionals.
