Chairman of the FOCUS Board; Retired President, P&G Pharmaceuticals and Personal Health
Mark Collar joined Procter & Gamble in 1975 as a sales representative working in Chicago. He held roles of increasing responsibility within sales and then advertising, helping develop or acquire many of the brands that became the multi-billion dollar pharmaceuticals and personal health business unit. He eventually became that business unit’s president, and a P&G corporate officer, until his retirement in 2008. For the past eight years, Mr. Collar has chaired the Advisory Board for the successful Ohio Third Frontier development program that is targeting over a billion dollars to boost Ohio’s technology innovation and commercialization. He serves on several other corporate and organization boards, including First Financial Bank (FFBC), Atricure (ATRC), Enable Injections LLC, and within Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
Mr. Collar resides with his family in Cincinnati, Ohio.
