William Mumma is currently the Board Chairman of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty. He served as a full-time volunteer CEO from 2011 until 2021. His work at Becket followed a 30-year career on Wall Street ending as CEO of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), with prior executive roles at Nomura Securities International and Bankers Trust. He is cofounder and Chairman of AcuViz a holding company whose subsidiary SalutarisMD is dedicated to the innovative treatment of ophthalmic disease.
Mr. Mumma also serves as the Board Chairman for FOCUS (The Fellowship of Catholic University Students) and serves on the board of the National Civil Liberties Alliance. He has degrees from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and Columbia University Business School. Mr. Mumma lives in Summit, New Jersey with his wife Kathy, to whom he has been happily married since 1983. They have six children and seventeen grandchildren.
