The Lord has called me to serve the students of San Diego State University! Go Aztecs! I am so excited to share truth and goodness with the students at SDSU, and remind them of their identity as beloved sons and daughters of God.
Above is my team (from left to right)- David, Myself, Jessica, and Camden. What a gift to be chosen to know and love my teammates!
Although I grew up Catholic, I didn't know what it meant to be in relationship with the Father and the true fulfillment that came from living fully alive as His daughter. During my first year of college at the University of California, Irvine, I met a missionary who met me where I was- in my questions, doubts, fears and loved me so well. She led me towards the truth of whose I was and how He was actively pursuing my heart desirous of fulfilling my deepest longings. I began to give the Lord my little 'yes's' and witnessed a greater desire to be a gift of self in sharing this truth with other people.
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to be the Lord's instrument to bring souls back to himself. I want young people to come alive in their identities as beloved. To be confident in His love, and mercy, and realize that nothing the world offers us will bring the fulfillment our hearts desire. I want students to experience the freedom that comes with letting themselves be loved by the Father, and fully embracing the call of who He created them to be. That through this, they desire to bring more people to Him. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to share this mission with you!
