Where I serve
When I said yes to an invitation to SEEK2017, I had no idea what I had actually signed up for. I showed up, got on one of three buses my alma mater was taking to San Antonio, TX (a 24 hour+ trip), and we started the trek. What I was not expecting when I arrived, was to walk into a conference and have an encounter with the Lord that to this day when I think about it, I still get chills. But that is exactly what happened. I returned back to my college campus knowing that big things were happening in my heart and confident that the Lord was inviting me to not only follow Him more closely, but to invite others to do the same. After graduating, I accepted an offer to serve as an on campus missionary with FOCUS for two years from 2019-2021, during which time I walked with women in Bible study and mentorship/discipleship. It is with great joy that I share after these two incredible years on campus, I will be joining the team that planned SEEK2017 and I will be assisting in planning future national conferences that will serve more than 10,000 students, staff, and supporters of FOCUS across the country and even internationally! As I prepare to join the events team at FOCUS headquarters in Denver, I invite you to read more about my story and consider joining me on mission.

I came to college not really sure about where I fit in, but knowing I desired genuine and authentic friendships and wanted to begin my next “big adventure,” as I called it. As I began to get involved in FOCUS, I started to realize that at the core of those friendships and adventures I was grasping for to make me happy, was ultimately a craving and yearning for a relationship with God—and only after I found that divine intimacy, did I truly find my place. That friendship with the Lord ultimately led to so many joy-filled friendships and adventures throughout college (and now beyond). Living my life as a disciple of Jesus Christ has changed me, and now, as I serve with FOCUS post-graduation, I am honored and excited to share the abundance of a life with Him with other college students.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to share this mission with you.
