Where I serve

As a third-year missionary, I'm excited to be moving into a new role as a Program Director for the East Area's Regional Team! And I will be working alongside my fiancé in Pittsburgh as he continues his direction of the FOCUS Team at Carnegie Mellon University!

As I take a step back from on-campus mission and into regional mission work, my job comes with several changes: instead of working directly with students on one college campus I will support our missionaries who are working on all 40 campuses along the East Coast. I will also handle several aspects of logistical and administrative planning, assist with recruiting and hiring efforts, and manage retreat and conference planning for the East Area Team.

I look forward to see how our Lord brings together our new regional team and equips us to serve our on-campus missionaries!

My Story

Growing up in a Catholic home, I was surrounded by a deep sense of love and respect for our faith. Upon leaving for the U.S. Naval Academy, though, I grew increasingly lukewarm in it. While I prioritized physical fitness and mental fitness, I let my spiritual fitness wane, choosing to attend Mass and participate in the sacraments out of habit rather than a true desire. And while Catholic clubs kept my faith alive during college, I didn't come to truly fall in love with Jesus Christ and His Church until after graduation. It was then that I witnessed the fulfillment of the universal desire for "more" - my roommates (two FOCUS missionaries) found this in Christ Jesus. And then so did I. Several months later, upon entering basic officer training in the U.S. Marine Corps and then the fleet, I truly experienced the Church's vital need for evangelization.

Through my experiences in the military, I was convicted more than ever that my purpose in life was to help others discover who they are and what they are made for. Upon completing my active duty service, I applied to be an on-campus missionary with FOCUS and they invited me to serve at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, an assignment I was excited to receive given my previous career.

As a campus missionary, my greatest desire was to lead all students to Christ.  My life had been transformed by Jesus and I wanted nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel, especially the cadets at U.S.C.G.A.

Now that I am a program director, I am excited to step out in a new way to invest in others at my home parish, my teammates, and other young adults in my local area to share the Gospel and reach the world for Christ!

Your Impact

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I have been blessed with the most amazing people who are willing to journey with me since I said "yes." If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to share this mission with you!
