We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. You’ll typically find me spending time with students at the university coffee shop, the Newman Center, or around campus. I have a pretty beautiful story about how Jesus has changed my life — I’d love to share it with you. 🙂
Although I was raised Catholic, I never personally encountered our Lord or my true identity in Him until one Sunday mass early in my freshman year of college. Following this encounter, I began allowing Him to transform my life throughout the remainder of college. In pursuing a new found life of holiness, my junior and senior years I received many suggestions from the missionaries on my campus that I was going to be a missionary, but had no desire to be one.
The Lord began working radically in my heart. He asked me for great trust in Him, with hanging up my volleyball shoes early, I was moved by His love to invest this newfound time into Fall student-mission, reaching out to involve the new students on our campus with Newman. Gradually softening my heart to full-time mission by showing me that He can use and fulfill my heart as a missionary. Responding to His invitation, trustingly surrendering my reservations to Him, I found myself giving Him the next small “yes” throughout the application process, ultimately guiding me to respond to His great commission to Go therefor and make disciples of all nations (MT 26:19) as His missionary with FOCUS.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
