I am a second year missionary serving the students at Boston University! I loved working with the BU students last year and I'm so thankful to be returning back this year. I am very
excited to help students grow closer to Christ while serving alongside my
awesome teammates in the Boston area.
I grew up in North Carolina and attended NC State University where I quickly became involved in the Catholic Campus Ministry organization. Throughout my time on campus I was very involved. I served our campus ministry and took on leadership roles in other student organizations around campus. I was involved in Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity in addition to serving as a college ambassador.
The summer before my senior year of college, I was interning across the country and felt like I had finally figured out my path post-graduation. Everything was lining up and going exactly according to my plans. That was until someone introduced me to FOCUS. While FOCUS wasn’t part of my “plan” I realized how much I had been putting my will above God’s will. Joining FOCUS gave me so much calmness. Instead of feeling anxious thinking about my future, I finally felt at peace.
Wolfpack Awakening 6: Retreat my junior year where I came to know Jesus better through a night of Adoration (I am in the front row, center)
My freshman year of college was very difficult adjusting to life away from home in addition to some unexpected life changes that happened that year. There is no way I would have been able to get through the year without the support of my friends, especially those in my campus ministry. While struggling to grasp what was going on and questioning how this could happen, my faith was continuously placed further down on my list of priorities. While on a retreat my junior year, I came to re-find my faith and put it back at the center of my life. Using my unique experience, I want to help others who may be suffering or questioning their faith. I want to be an example that no matter what happens, your faith should not be lost or given a lower priority.

Please join me on this mission! I want to be an example that no matter what happens, your faith should be the center of your life. I have put my trust in the Lord that He will provide while I am doing missionary work. I ask that you please consider joining my missionary support team in whatever way possible. That can be financially or spiritually. Please contact me at [email protected] to set up an appointment to talk about you how you can help change the lives of students at Boston University.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on …
