God has called me to serve college students at the University of Illinois in Champaign! You’ll typically find me hanging out at the Newman Center, playing sports with students, or walking around campus meeting new people. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life — I think you should hear it sometime! Come find me and I’d love to share it with you. 🙂

As a student at Iowa State University, I encountered the Lord in a profound way at a FOCUS conference as a freshman. I began to understand the intimate relationship He desired with me, and how He demonstrates that to me through the Gospel. Despite many ups and downs throughout college in my relationship with Him, He continued to pursue me through the sacraments and many wonderful friendships, including those of some FOCUS missionaries on campus. Understanding the way that the Lord desires us all to find our deepest sense of our identity in Him and then live out of that to pursue others in mission has changed my life! In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I can’t wait to encounter those students who the Lord wants to grow with on campus!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission.
