I have been greatly impacted by the Gospel and how I have seen it lived out, and now, God has called me to encounter and serve college students at Vanderbilt University. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life — I would love to share it with you sometime! 🙂

In my time as a student at Texas Tech University, the Lord chose to use focus missionaries and student leaders to completely transform my life. A handful of women invested deeply in me and in our friendship and invited me to be a part of their lives. In doing this they taught me how to live out the gospel and encounter God daily. They led me to Jesus, and I will be eternally grateful for that.

Here are two of the women, my dear friends, who have changed my life.

As a missionary, I want to be a friend to students like these women were to me. My greatest desire is to lead all students to a relationship with Christ, and show them how they can practically live it out. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and He spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I want to meet students where they’re at, invest in them deeply, and bring them to Jesus Himself.  I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus and look forward to seeing the way the Lord works in our lives.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus, where my impact is not just mine but it is mine and all of my support team.
