Where I serve

We serve at the Denver Support Center.  Cesca works as a data analyst for the IT department, mainly managing database access and organization for our financial and personnel database among many other things.  Joseph serves as a Quantitative Analyst for the Quality, Growth, and Innovation team, researching to help FOCUS ensure the quality and depth of our mission as we grow.

My Story

Hello!

My name is Francesca O'Loughlin and my husband Joseph and I both graduated from Colorado State University and now serve as missionaries at FOCUS' National Support Center in Genesee, Colorado.

While in college at Colorado State University I was privileged to work with FOCUS for three and a half years as a student leader where I mentored other students and lead small group bible studies. The FOCUS community at CSU not only helped guide me in my journey to know, love and serve Jesus, but kindled a zeal to fulfill the call of bringing Him to those around me hungering for the truth. While building this relationship with Christ I was also blessed to meet and build relationships with amazing people who shared my faith, including my husband, Joseph O'Loughlin, who is also a graduate of CSU. After studying abroad in Spain for a semester, Joseph was convicted of the necessary work of FOCUS by the state of the Church in Europe and their desperate need for the New Evangelization. As students we both served in FOCUS leadership at CSU for two years until Joseph graduated in 2011 and joined FOCUS as a missionary; he was sent to the University of Colorado in Boulder his first year.  After I graduated CSU in 2012, Joseph and I were married that August, then returned to Boulder where we were blessed to spent our first year of marriage serving as missionaries on campus together.

From there Joseph decided to continue his studies in economics while serving part-time on the CU campus and after a year of additional courses accepted a masters program in Madrid, Spain. During this time I began working at our National Office in Genessee (FOCUS Headquarters) where I served as a program director helping manage campus expansion, hiring missionaries, and building up leadership within the organization through training and team director promotion. I was blessed to be able to continue this work remotely while we were living in Spain.  After Joseph's graduation in August 2015 we returned to Colorado along with our daughter Isabella, our great joy and blessing from our trip to Lourdes, who was born five months later on January 7th, 2016.

Upon our return State-side Joseph returned to FOCUS to use his economics and research experience serving in our national office as a data analyst with the Quality, Growth, and Innovation Team. He and his team help ensure that FOCUS maintains and continues to improve the quality of our programs and are prepared for growth as we expand to new campuses both in our leadership development both within the organization and in the students we serve on campus.

Your Impact

It is a great joy for us to get to be working together again serving this incredible mission. Thank you so much for joining us in our mission, we are amazed and humbled by the grace God has blessed us with to serve this mission, and it is only through you're incredible support that this blessing is made possible.
