We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve at West Virginia University.
I had a hard time with the shallow-depths of friendship/relationships at the start of college. In hindsight, I know that God imprinted friendship on my heart since I was in elementary school: to have good friends and to be one. Yet, I was wandering for a whole year before encountering a great love that changed my life.
The FOCUS missionaries and community fascinated me with their deep love, adventure, and how alive they were. Before I knew this love was directly from the Lord, He had drawn me in through community and showed me His love through my new friends.
I learned quickly that a relationship with Jesus was possible through Bible study and through living life with these new friends. It made me alive: He was making me alive.
As a missionary on a college campus, it is my greatest desire to encounter all souls: wandering, confused, alone, joyful…and let the love of Christ work through me. I want to make His name known: that He is real and desires relationships with us. I want to walk the college walk with them and share friendship/community rooted in God. I want each student (and person) to see what great love God has for them and see that He gives their lives purpose.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment.
I’d be honored to share this mission with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
