God has called me to serve college students at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. You’ll typically find me hanging out on campus at the union, a coffee shop, or at the Newman Center. The Newman Center is a beautiful place to come pray, enter into fellowship, and study.

I grew up going to multiple denominations and really struggled with believing in the Lord and His Truth. From the outside, I had everything together but on the inside, my heart was yearning for more. At the time I didn’t know what or really who I was yearning for until my freshman year of college. During my freshman year I encountered the Newman Center and was invited into the community. While I said no at first to countless invitations, the Lord continued to pursue my heart through many of my friends. So, during the summer between my freshman and sophomore year, Jesus invited me home to the Catholic Church after many hours of study into the Catholic Faith. I became so convicted of the truth and began RCIA my sophomore year and on Pentecost entered the Church.

I truly can say that I encountered Jesus for the first time when I received my first Holy Communion. Since that moment Jesus has radically changed my life and has healed me from so many wounds & delivered me from sin. Know that Jesus has a beautiful plan for redemption in your life & desires every part of your heart. He thirsts to be in communion with you.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
