Hey! My name’s Kelley. I’m a FOCUS missionary at Louisiana State University. Geaux Tigers!
Where I serve
God has called me to serve college students at LSU. I serve as a Varsity Catholic missionary, which means I spend most of my time with the student-athletes at LSU! Geaux Tigers! Two reasons I love living in south Louisiana are.. crawfish and college football!
My Story
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to introduce students to the abundant life offered to them thru a relationship with Jesus. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. Palm Sunday- Tea party with some of the women we walk with in discipleship! We love to celebrate important celebrations in the Church together!
Spring Break 2023– 19 students from LSU spent their spring break serving the people of Playa Blanca, Costa Rica. We spent a week building a church, praying with the local people, and being a witness to the JOY of the Christian life! On our way to Costa Rica, we got to visit Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City!
VARSITY CATHOLIC
I attend a lot of LSU sporting events to support the students I walk with! I love this part of my job because I am able to help the athletes see the similarities of being a successful athlete and a holy Christian!
