I have been called to serve at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD! Go Yotes!

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to abundant life in Christ, something that I learned after being deeply invested in by a missionary on my own campus. For the first part of college, I struggled to find a balance between faith, academics, and athletics. My junior year however, I was approached by a missionary who showed me what it was like to live the truly abundant life (John 10:10) in relationship with Christ and others. I was initially hesitant to say yes to a Bible study, but she continued to walk with me in genuine and authentic friendship until I was ready to take the next step in my faith journey. FOCUS has been one of the greatest blessings in my life, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to bring the love, joy, peace, friendship, generosity, relationship, laughter, and so much more that life in Christ has brought to me to other college students who are no doubt searching for truth and meaning in their own lives.

My background as a college athlete has taught me how to draw parallels between the discipline of faith and the discipline of sport, so I will be reaching out to athletes at USD specifically through a mission called Varsity Catholic. My goal is to walk with female athletes in any way possible as they navigate college athletics and our secular world, and to affirm in them the message that they are known, seen, and loved by the Father.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve as a FOCUS missionary and can’t wait to see where the Lord takes me!
