God has called our family to serve college students. We are blessed to live this mission out at University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. Our days are filled running around on campus, encountering students in the midst of their daily lives, and welcoming them into our home, where we are able to share Christ’s love and invite them to experience the beauty (and craziness) of our family!

Logan: I grew up Christian, but during high school, I lost the Faith I was brought up with. Upon entering college, I met a girl named Rachel (yes, she is my wife now). Through Rachel’s love and the support of a FOCUS missionary named Joe, I came to say yes to Jesus’ love in a new and radical way: I started to attend daily Mass, lead Bible studies; I became involved in FOCUS discipleship, and I entered into the Catholic Church the next Easter!

Rachel: I grew up Catholic; however, going into high school, I found that I was only living out my faith to the extent of glazing over a couple quick prayers at night (sometimes) and going to Mass on Sunday. This left me feeling very unsatisfied by the time I went to college. Soon after moving to UNC, I met a missionary who showed me how fulfilling it was to truly live out my faith. For the first time, I was going to daily Mass and Bible study, I had a daily prayer life, and I found true authentic friendships that would continue to draw me closer to Christ.

We said yes to FOCUS because we are absolutely convicted of Christ’s life, joy, mercy, and love. We desire to love Christ and make him loved. We have answered the call to be a missionaries, and we are overjoyed to be able to help lead others into an encounter with God and to journey with them on a lifelong way of mercy, grace, peace, blessing, and joy into the deeps of Jesus’ Heart, which alone can satisfy.

Mother Teresa once said that “Some give by going, others go by giving, but without both there would be no mission.” Without your “yes” to God, this mission would not be possible. So thank you! Your support will enable us to lead Bible studies; to invite students into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; and to invite students into discipleship, mentoring and teaching them how to invest deeply in others, build a prayer life, be formed in the faith, and make disciples of all nations.
