Where I serve
This will be my second year as a FOCUS missionary, and God has called me to serve at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. As a college missionary, I am called to serve students and share life with them. My goal is to show students what it means to be made to love and to be loved, by introducing them to Jesus Christ and the Gospel.
Being a missionary has been a great way for me to respond to God's call. I am confident in his plan for me and merely desire to follow him to wherever He leads me. My hope for my time as a missionary is to be able to lead others into an intimate relationship with Jesus, so that they too can know just how amazing His love is. I was born and raised Catholic, and have always heard about how, "Jesus loves you" but never really felt what that meant. It was just another overused saying that I would hear every Sunday homily. Not until college, when a FOCUS missionary really walked with me in my faith and showed me what it meant to have a real relationship with Jesus did I experience the very real and transformative effects of Christ's love through his Church and the Sacraments.
As a FOCUS missionary, I am called to serve students on college campuses. But I'm not called to do that alone. I need your help as well. We are called to rely on each other as brothers and sisters in order to accomplish the plans that God has set before us. I ask that if this mission is something that speaks to your heart, that you pray and consider helping fund me so that we can change hearts together. Nothing I do on campus is a result of my own merit, but rather a collaborative effort between myself and you on my support team. Without you, and without Christ, I can't do anything.
