God has called me to serve at Coastal Carolina University. There, I will be walking with students and student-athletes as they journey through their college years. I am so excited to join this community! Go Chanticleers!
My entire life, I have always wanted to be a medical doctor. I attended the University of Louisiana where I majored in Biology with a concentration in allied health and attained minors in Chemistry and Spanish. I worked extremely hard to make my dream of becoming a doctor a reality.
Throughout my college years, I was also gifted with incredible Catholic community and grew deeper in my faith as I led Bible studies and helped others grow in their own faiths. When it came time for me to apply to medical school, the Lord illuminated my passion of journeying with people on their life paths and aiding them in their pursuit of Christ. I felt God ask me to put my plans on hold and pursue FOCUS. Thus, God brought me to this new adventure of being a collegiate missionary!
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I may not be studying to save people's lives medically yet, but I truly believe that the Lord is calling me to help save college students' lives spiritually!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to share this mission with you.
