Where I serve

As a missionary with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, or FOCUS, I will be working with and serving men and women on the college campus. This year I am serving at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, just outside of  St. Louis. Lindenwood is an expansion campus with FOCUS and has never before had FOCUS missionaries serving on its campus! If want to find me or one of my awesome teammates, you will probably find any one of us on campus or the Newman Center meeting new people and establishing life long connections!

My Story

One year ago, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a major in psychology. It was at the SEEK 2017 Conference in San Antonio my senior year that I felt God calling me to be a missionary and realize the desire on my heart to make a difference. My life has been transformed by Jesus, and I want nothing more than for others to hear the life-changing message of the Gospel and to experience the joy a relationship with Him can bring. This past year I served on a team at the University of Kansas, and had the privilege of serving alongside an amazing staff at the St. Lawrence Catholic Center, as well as some incredible students who have become some of my bests friends. I was sad to leave KU, but am looking forward to be serving at Lindenwood this upcoming year. There is a lot of excitement about being on a campus that has never had FOCUS before, and I am honored to have been selected to pave the way for future missionaries.

God humbled Himself in the greatest of ways, taking on our humanity in everything but sin so that He might show us His love. By accepting death on a cross, He restored our broken relationship with Him caused by sin. In His three years of public ministry, Jesus spent almost all of His time investing deeply in a few, His twelve disciples. And look what those twelve disciples did; it is through their witness that the Church exists today! If we want to reach the world, then what better way than to follow the model of Jesus.

Your Impact

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me in the mission of reaching college students. There is a great deal of trust involved in relying on the support of others, but it is in that uncertainty that I can put my faith in the generosity of God and of others. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I would love to schedule an appointment and discuss how you can join in this mission. I'd be honored to journey with you!
