Where I serve
I served my first year at San Diego State University, and then crossed the entire United States for my second and third years to serve at Towson University in Maryland. Life with Christ is a grand adventure, I am excited for the journey that I am being led on. I have often been shown the abundance of blessings that flood down with even a small yes to Jesus. I have been reminded over and over what He can do in my life and the lives of others. Trusting God isnt always easy, but it always brings a sense of peace, I cant wait to see what Christ has in store for me...
I am the oldest child in my family and I have 6 younger brothers and 1 sister. I was raised Catholic from my parents but I wasn't ever forced to be. They always made sure I knew that they wanted me to pray with them and go to mass but it was ultimately my choice. They helped me to take the reins of my faith by myself but continued to guide me along the way. Growing up I was involved with a group of friends who got together every week to play sports and read and meditate on the Gospel. This group of men helped me to grow in my leadership skills and my willingness to sacrifice myself for the Lord and others. I graduated University of Washington in Seattle with plans to go to law school but God had a different mission in mind. When I was offered a chance to apply as a FOCUS missionary I had little to no prior experience with their organization. After attending an interview weekend in Denver I felt God calling me to join in this ministry to reach out to college students and show them how to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I know that my faith and love of Jesus was not meant to be kept to myself but shared to others so that they would come to know, love and serve the Lord, and through FOCUS I am given the chance to share that with others.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. Kind of a scary prospect until you start seeing how God provides, and then its just mind blowing. I've already been blessed with more people than I imagined who were ready and able to support this ministry through me, but I am still in need of support to reach my goal. If you are interested in joining me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to have a chance to have you join in this mission with me.
