Where I serve

I asked God to give me an adventure, and man did He give me one!  I am so excited to continue to serve the college students at California State University, Long Beach for my third year!  I am beyond excited and grateful to meet, serve, minister, and invest in these students this upcoming year!

My Story

I will start off by saying that never in a million years did I think I would be a Catholic missionary.  This was never a part of my plan and never something I could see myself doing.  But by the grace of God, I am here.  Although I've been Catholic my whole life, I was never serious about it or knew the significance of being Catholic.  Going into college over 1,000 miles away from home, I felt so alone at my college of Colorado State University.  After engaging in a lifestyle that was not fulfilling, a friend invited me to mass at the local church.  It was through that invitation that changed my life.  At this church, I found an incredible community full of people with a love and joy that was contagious.  I knew after meeting these people they had something I so greatly desired.  After agreeing to go join a Bible study and go to a FOCUS conference with thousands of other young Catholics, the Lord entered into my heart in a dynamic and personal way.  Since then, I knew I could not keep this joy and love I found through Christ to myself.  This is the love the Lord wants the whole world to know, and I feel so blessed and humbled that Christ called me to fulfill this mission on college campuses.

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I've been constantly amazed by the different souls I've encountered on campus.

Your Impact

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to share this mission with you.
