God has called me to serve at the FOCUS national headquarters in Denver, Colorado. I currently work as a Donor Communications Specialist, stewarding communications for the FOCUS community in our humble and hidden role. We are the missionaries to the missionaries, taking on administrative tasks to allow those serving on campus to be whole-heartedly and freely present to students.

In December 2015, Jesus called me closer to His heart than I had ever known possible. I was college freshman attending SEEK, where I heard for the first time that Jesus loved me, personally, and wanted a relationship with me. I had been a practicing Catholic my whole life, but in that moment God cut through all fears and misconceptions of “just checking the boxes” in my faith life. This was beyond my wildest imaginings! The notion that the God of the Universe was a true, existing, and living person I could get to know and have a real relationship with was life-changing – and I knew I had to share it.

I went on to complete my degrees in Data Analytics and Statistics, thinking I would be called to follow God in the corporate world after graduation. God must have been laughing, because He had other plans! My whole college career, I continued to dive into His word through daily Mass, Bible Study, and the wonderfully supportive community I found with FOCUS missionaries and the CCM there. Upon graduation, I knew I was called to full-time work building up the Church, and soon after was hired into the Donor Relations department at FOCUS.

With a missionary heart, my greatest desire is to be saint and to bring as many people with me as possible. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel.
