God has called me to serve the midshipmen at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland! You’ll typically find me hanging out on the Yard at sports practices, walking around with midshipmen, or spending time in the library. Here’s a picture of the team for the 2022-2023 academic year!

Growing up Catholic, I always had a love for the Lord. But, it was during my time in college at James Madison University that I began to encounter Him through bible study, Eucharistic Adoration, and community centered on God. I truly fell in love with the person of Jesus Christ during my sophomore year. It was then that I began to put Jesus at the center of my life, which changed everything about how I lived. Throughout the rest of my time in college, God showed me how much He loves me and gave me a heart for showing this love to others. As graduation approached, God made it pretty clear He wanted me to serve His church as a missionary. Upon graduating, I decided to go back to the college campus to serve as a FOCUS missionary!

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel! In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. As I step into my third year as a missionary, I know that the Lord is continuing to transform me. The past three years have been difficult, yet joyful and life giving. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered in my first two years at the Coast Guard Academy and now as I lead my team at the Naval Academy!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
