Where I serve

Stony Brook University! I am blessed to spend a second year at this amazing university with these amazing students. This will my fourth year on staff and my first year as a team director. I am looking forward to continuing to grow in my relationship with Christ Jesus and fulfilling his great commission by "making disciples of all nations" here at Stony Brook.

My Story

My story, God's story, it's one in the same. I grew up in a loving, Catholic family but saw the faith as more as a set of guidelines than as a real relationship with a God who loves me. This changed in college when I was encouraged by my priest, missionaries and friends at the University of Northern Colorado (UNCo) to live a life centered on Christ. For me this meant going to daily Mass and giving God time in prayer every day. After my junior year at UNCo I decided to enter the seminary in order to discern the priesthood. I spent two years at Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary in downtown Denver before discerning that the Lord was not calling me to the priesthood. I spent one last year at UNCo finishing a degree in psychology. During this time I knew that the Lord still had a plan for me and as I continued to pursue Him He led me to becoming a FOCUS missionary. As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. This is going to be a blessed year!

Your Impact

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to share this mission with you.
