Where I serve

My first year on campus was in Muncie, Indiana at Ball State University. On August 1st, 2014 I got married to Mikayla Wagner. She served her first year at USC in Los Angeles, CA. Then we both moved to North Dakota to serve at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. After two years in Grand Forks, I received a promotion into a regional position of which I am currently serving.  I currently work with Seven campuses: Iowa State University, University of Nebraska- Omaha, University of Nebraska - Kearney, Wayne State College, University of South Dakota,  Drake University, and the Digitial Campus, which is a team of missionaries that work with students via Skype who don't have a program on their campus. As the Regional Director overseeing schools in Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota, I am so blessed to be able to train and provide support to the missionaries who are directly affecting the young people in our community. Mikayla currently stays at home with our two girls to make all of this possible. On top of staying at home, she is constantly helping with mission through her advice to both me and the missionaries she mentors.

Being a missionary is difficult, tiresome, wonderful, vibrant and well worth it. Everyone is called to know Jesus, and live with Him in eternity, but so few are introduced to Him! I am privileged to work full time to correct this injustice.

My Story

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I've been constantly amazed by the different souls I've encountered on campus.

Your Impact

When we answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. We've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as we serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with us, please let me know of the best way to reach you and we will schedule an appointment. We'd be honored to share this mission with you.
