John Zimmer is vice president of apostolic development at FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students. John graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Washington in Seattle and holds a master's degree in business from the University of Denver. Prior to joining FOCUS, John worked in corporate technology sales and restaurant management. As a campus missionary, he served as the campus director at the University of Northern Colorado and established the FOCUS outreach at the University of Colorado in Boulder. John speaks and teaches throughout the country on Christian leadership, evangelization and apologetics. He and his wife, Barbara, live in Centennial, Colorado, with their seven children.
Dr. Edward Sri
Dr. Edward Sri is a theologian, author and well-known Catholic speaker who appears regularly on EWTN. Each year he speaks to tens of thousands of people from around the world, including clergy, parish leaders, catechists and laity. He has written several best-selling books, including A Biblical Walk through the Mass, Walking with Mary and Who Am I to Judge? – Responding to Relativism with Logic and Love. His latest release is, Into His Likeness: Be Transformed as a Disciple. Edward Sri is also the host of the acclaimed film series Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained and the presenter of several faith formation film series, including A Biblical Walk through the Mass; Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother; and Follow Me: Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John. He is a founding leader with Curtis Martin of FOCUS, where he currently serves as Vice President of Formation. He resides with his wife Elizabeth and their eight children in Littleton, Colorado.
Mark Bartek is the East Area Director for FOCUS, serving 43 schools and 175 missionaries. Mark joined FOCUS back in 2006 and is currently serving in his eleventh year with the organization. Mark lives in Lakewood, Colorado, with his wife, Angie, and their seven children.
Hilary Draftz became a full-time FOCUS missionary in 2005 after earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. She has served FOCUS on various levels of campus and regional leadership and as a director of Quality, Growth, & Innovation. Hilary is currently serving as director of the West Area, leading a team of six regional directors who work directly with more than 200 missionaries on more than 40 college campuses from California to Kansas. She and her husband, Tim, live in Lakewood, Colorado.
