I currently serve the college students at the University of Nevada, Reno in my first year with FOCUS. You can typically find me at the Newman center praying in the chapel, outside in nature, reading, singing karaoke and doing salsa dancing.  As a missionary, my goal is to help every college student to encounter Christ and respond to His call to “make disciples of all nations” (Mt 28: 19-20). Every person is called to be in communion with Christ and experience God’s Infinite Love. Our college campuses experience what St. John Paul II called a “culture of death.” In an uncertain and hopeless word, God comes to shine His light “in the darkness” (John 1:5). With your help, we can reach out to all nations and bring the hope and the joy of the Gospel to all people’s hearts. 

I decided to become a missionary with FOCUS after witnessing the impact that FOCUS made in my Alma Mater at the University of California, Irvine. I realized the importance of having someone investing in you that can lead you in your discipleship journey as you grow closer in authentic friendship. It was a blessing for me to have FOCUS in my campus because I learned what having a true relationship with Christ looks like. God did not want me to only go to mass every Sunday, he wanted my whole self. He wants my heart. I encountered the love of Christ in such a profound way that it was impossible for me to say no to His calling to help others encounter this Perfect Love. May you also encounter His Everlasting Love for you!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission.
