Brady Stier

My purpose for being a VC missionary is to bring athletes, coaches, and everyone in the athletic departments into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to help them to fulfill the Great Commission by doing that for others, as well. I will strive for this by loving well, having hope and optimism, and sacrificing my time and my pride to catalyze others on their journey. The Lord has invited me to serve as a Varsity Catholic (VC) National Coach to help fulfill this mission. This role will allow me to walk with other missionaries around the country to positively influence their campuses and the athletics they participate in there. I’m looking forward to recruiting others to the Lord’s team with my team here at FOCUS.

Where I serve

I serve remotely with the DSC and I currently live in Duluth, MN where I just finished half a decade of working on-campus both here and at South Dakota State University. I am married with my wife Charlotte being one year away from officially becoming a Physical Therapist. We have our first child due in September, 2023.

My Story

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ and to heaven thereafter. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campuses near and far. From college in Iowa, to coaching in Mankato, to starting my missionary work at SDSU, to transitioning to UMD, to now serving with the DSC, I’m excited and hopeful to see where God will take this journey.
