Where we serve
Carter - I am serving as the Regional Director for the Pacific Northwest; I will be leading seven teams in their mission to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples on the college campus. I have been a missionary in Nebraska and most recently at Washington State University. My role as an RD entails aligning vision across the region and coaching team directors in leadership and mission-oriented skills. I will also support chaplains in their work with the teams and on campus. My journey with God has brought me to the farthest corners of the continental United States. I am looking forward to bringing the Gospel to a culture that is in desperate need of it.
Lesley-Anne - I am serving as a Human Resources Specialist. I will be ensuring that our missionaries are taken care of and have the resources they need to thrive as human beings. The personal development of missionaries has been a passion of mine since becoming a team director at Cal State-Fullerton and UC-Berkeley. My hope is that the Lord will use me in this position to bring healing to missionaries and help them become the best they can be.
We both have experienced radical conversions in our life; Lesley during her time at CU-Boulder as a freshman and Carter at Auburn University as a senior. We were both living as the typical college student. We desired great things, but these things were centered on ourselves. After we encountered Christ, our desires shifted. We saw the love and mercy of God working in our lives and want to share our story with others. We believe Jesus Christ is the answer to the longings of the human heart and have oriented our lives to proclaim that truth.
We met while serving on a mission trip to Peru. We became great friends, but did not start dating until many months later. After several years of long distance dating, we were married in August 2018 and welcomed our first child the following year. As we continue to deepen our love for the Lord and for each other, we are blown away by the grace that is bestowed upon us by our Father in Heaven.
We cannot do this alone. God has called us to start our family as missionaries living out Matthew 28:18-20. We desire to give everything to Him and to follow His Will. In order the do this, we need support. Just as St. Paul was supported by the various churches, we ask that you join us as mission partners in building the kingdom one soul at a time. If this mission is intriguing to you or you share our passion, please reach out to us and let us know. We would love to sit down and talk. You will be in our prayers!
