Where I serve
God has called us to serve the students at the University of Idaho!
We love being at the U of I in Moscow! It's a great town in the beautiful Palouse, with a thriving faith community at St. Augustine's. In town you can find me at the Church, the climbing wall, or hanging out on campus. On the weekends, I love to be with people in the mountains, whether it's climbing, backpacking, or skiing. Pope St. John Paul II shared this, "We can pray perfectly when we are out in the mountains or on a lake and we feel at one with nature. Nature speaks for us or rather speaks to us. We pray perfectly." Enjoying God's creation, and teaching others to pray is what gives me life. Come find me!
It has been fun to settle into life in Moscow and build a home here. I have loved having people over to make dinner, paint, play music, and enjoy bonfires.
There is joy in sharing daily, seemingly mundane moments with others. In small things such as eating meals together or running errands, relationships are formed and deepened! Jesus is so present in those moments- I am blessed to show people how He seeks them out and desires to make His nearness known.
As missionaries, our greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. Our lives have been transformed by Jesus and we want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. We look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world.
When we answered the call to join FOCUS, we made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help us through this mission. We've been blessed with the most amazing people who journey with us as we serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with us, please let us know of the best way to reach you and we will schedule an appointment. We would be honored to share this mission with you.
