Where I serve
God has called me to serve at IU. Go Hoosiers!!! You'll most like find me hanging out at a coffee shop, St. Paul's, or hanging out with people around campus. I would love to share with you how Jesus has become King in my life.
I grew up in Rochester MN. I went to Lourdes high school, and during my time there I started to learn a lot about our faith in theology classes. What I was learning in my classes impacted my prayer, and my prayer increased my desire to learn about the faith. I took a gap year between high school and college. During that time I became involved with the young adult group in Rochester. I also worked at St. James Coffee House, a Catholic coffee shop with a Eucharistic chapel in it!!! During this year I grew in love and devotion to Jesus and coffee. Through this new love of Jesus, I felt a call to enter seminary for the Diocese of Winona-Rochester.
I stayed in seminary for four years until the spring semester of my senior year. I felt the Lord calling me to step out of seminary formation and finish my philosophy degree at Saint Mary's University. Go Cardinals!!!
I still have the desire to give my heart completely to Jesus. I am really excited and blessed to be a FOCUS missionary. I can't wait to go and set the world on fire with the love of Jesus!!!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I've been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I'd be honored to share this mission with you.
